The Fleet Trainer is expected to be very hands-on in the training of new Delivery Drivers. This leader will take initiative and responsibility for the training of new and existing Delivery Drivers and will have proven proficiency and mastery of all Delivery Driver procedures. The Fleet Trainer will report directly to the Fleet Leaders and FOH Directors and will be expected to frequently communicate the status and development of Delivery Driver training.
Job Responsibilities
Training responsibilities include:
- Continuously training new and existing Delivery Drivers
- Completing hands-on training sessions with new Delivery Drivers
- Ensuring Delivery Driver Training Checklists are completed for all new Delivery Drivers
- Frequently communicating the status and development of Delivery Driver training
- Upholding all Pathway procedures regarding the Delivery space
- Maintaining proven proficiency and mastery of all CFA Delivery procedures
Other responsibilities include:
- Participating in Driver Safety Training.
- Executing safe driving best practices.
- Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks, including tires, gas level and warning lights/indicators, vehicle cleanliness, ect.
- Maintaining a charged phone/device throughout the duration of delivery.
- Extending Core 4 and 2nd Mile Service beyond the Restaurant.
- Helping differentiate Chick-fil-A from others in the delivery space.
- Representing the Restaurant by being presentable, efficient and friendly.
Skills & Requirements
The Fleet Trainer must meet the following requirements:
- Positive attitude
- Exhibit the Core 4 with the Guest and team
- Ability to work on a team
- Outstanding communication skills
- Excellent training and coaching skills
- Thorough understanding of all standard operating procedures pertaining to Chick-fil-A Delivery
- Must have a clean 3 year driving record and zero driving infractions with CFA
- Average at least 37.5 hours per week
- Available to work 6:30 AM to 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM at least 5 days per week
Reporting Structure
The Fleet Trainer reports directly to their Team Lead.
