Job Description

The starting pay for this position is $15.50/hr

Our on-the-job training ensures your success and ability to excel in your position. Your motivation, positive attitude, and unique energy will allow you to adapt to your surroundings and advance in the company.

This position is a student housing-based position near the USF campus. You will conduct foot patrol throughout the property to ensure no unwanted visitors, theft, or parties.

Schedule

  • Weekends required
  • Afternoon - overnights required
  • Actual shifts will be given during orientation

Your day might look like

  • Foot patrols throughout the property to deter thieves and make sure
  • Conducting incident and site reports throughout shift
  • Taking ownership of the property and working to keep is safe for all residents

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Pass a background check & drug test
  • Working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports
  • Own personal transportation
  • Florida Class D Security License
  • A working smartphone to write reports, clock in and out, and utilize the Signal Software
  • Ability to sit, stand, drive, and walk for up to 15 hours.

Extra Details

  • The starting pay for this position is $15.50/hr
  • There is a 60-day probation period - following the probation period, employees are eligible for full medical benefits, as well as a pay increase of $16-$18 an hour depending on evaluation and placement updates.

Each Signal franchise is independently owned and operated. You are applying for work with a franchisee of Signal of Tampa, not Signal, LLC. If hired, the franchisee will be your only employer. Franchisees are independent business owners who set their own wage and benefit programs that can vary among franchisees.
