Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Approximately 24 hours weekly, night shifts
Starting Pay: $20.75 per hour

As a Dedicated Security Officer, you will serve as the face of safety and professionalism at client properties. You will help protect people, property, and assets while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a confident, approachable presence.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine patrols of courtyards, pools, common areas, and high-value locations.

Monitor and secure access points to help prevent unauthorized entry.

Maintain a visible security presence that supports safety and deters unwanted activity.

Provide respectful, professional customer service to clients, residents, and guests.

Document incidents, observations, and activities through accurate written reports using company software.

Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, and client representatives.
-
Respond calmly and professionally to concerns, disturbances, or developing situations.

Apply de-escalation techniques while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Protect and properly maintain assigned equipment, including phones, keys, and other company assets.

Follow all post orders, company policies, and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or GED.

Hold an active Hawaii State Guard Card.

Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Have reliable transportation to get to the job site.

Have access to a dependable communication device.

Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Be organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.

Be physically able to move or lift up to 20 pounds.

Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Experience and Skills

Previous experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, or Patrol Officer.

Knowledge of loss prevention, access control, or property protection practices.
