Position Details

📍 Location: Dedicated armed security position at a school in St. Petersburg, FL.

💰 Pay Rate: $20.80/hour

🕒 Schedule:

• Full-time position with a set schedule.
• Weekend availability required.
• Shifts available: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain safety and security for students, staff, and visitors.
• Perform routine patrols to deter incidents and ensure a secure environment.
• Monitor and document on-site activities through detailed reports.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Who We’re Looking For

✔ Holds a valid Florida Class G Security License.

🔹 Preferred but Not Required: Prior military experience, law enforcement background, or security work.

Minimum Requirements

✅ Must pass a background check & drug screening.
✅ Own a smartphone (for clocking in, reporting, and communication).
✅ Reliable transportation (personal vehicle required) & a valid driver’s license.
✅ Must hold a Florida Class G Security License (required before starting).
✅ Must own your own duty-approved firearm.
✅ Physical endurance – Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
