Security Officer – Unarmed

Location: Greater Minneapolis Area

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Shifts: All shifts available. Will be given upon hire. 

Position Overview

We are looking for dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team across the Greater Minneapolis area. In this role, you will play a key part in creating safe, secure, and welcoming environments for employees, clients, and visitors. Your presence will help deter unwanted activity while ensuring daily operations run smoothly and safely.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a strong and visible security presence throughout assigned properties
• Conduct routine patrols to identify and address potential risks or irregular activity
• Monitor premises to help prevent unauthorized access or safety concerns
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with directions or questions
• Document daily activities and complete detailed incident reports when necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Must be legally authorized to work as an unarmed security officer in Minnesota
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay alert and aware of surroundings
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and take appropriate action in high-pressure situations
• Previous security experience is a plus, but not required
