Job Title: Security Officer – Full-Time & Part-Time ( Minneapolis, MN )

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

Shift and Schedule: Overnight shifts (Including Weekends and Holidays)

About the Role

We are looking for dependable, professional individuals to serve as the front line of safety for our clients and the Madison community. Key Responsibilities

  • Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct foot patrols of courtyards, offices, pools, and high-value areas.

  • Access Control: Monitor and secure access points to ensure the safety of residents and property.

  • Incident Reporting: Use company technology (web/app-based) to write detailed, accurate daily activity reports.

  • Customer Service: Act as a professional point of contact for clients, residents, and visitors.

  • De-escalation: Use verbal communication skills to resolve conflicts and maintain a calm environment.

  • Equipment Care: Maintain responsibility for assigned gear, including radios, keys, and mobile devices.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Background: Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

  • Licensing: Must meet Minnesota state security licensing requirements (no felony convictions).

  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.

  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Physical: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift/move up to 20 lbs.
