Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Pay: $15.50 per hour; after 30 completed shifts pay will be raised up to $17 per hour pending evaluations/review.

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, high-energy Security Officer to join our patrol team in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you aren’t just a guard; you play a key role in providing peace of mind to residents and downtown visitors. You will provide a visible safety presence for shoppers and employees, deterring bad actors while providing top-tier customer service. This position is perfect for those who enjoy being active, as it requires frequent walking, standing, and driving around the site.
Key Responsibilities

Incident Reporting: Use a smartphone/tablet to submit clear, digital reports regarding safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security incidents.

De-escalation: Use verbal communication skills to manage difficult situations and maintain a calm shopping atmosphere.

Equipment Management: Maintain and operate company equipment including two-way radios, access cards, and security vehicles.
Requirements

Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Background: Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Physical: Ability to stand and walk for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift/move up to 20 lbs.

Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills for report writing and customer service.

Reliability: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Bowling Green area.
