Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Position Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Officer to maintain safety and security for our client in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will monitor premises, enforce policies, and respond promptly to incidents to protect people, property, and assets.

Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect signs of intrusion or disturbance
- Monitor and control access points to ensure authorized entry and exit
- Respond quickly and effectively to alarms and emergencies
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and report any security concerns
- Enforce company policies and procedures consistently and fairly
- Maintain detailed and accurate incident and activity reports

Qualifications
- Required: Valid security officer license or certification as required by Washington, DC regulations
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in security or related fields preferred but not required
