Starting Pay: $21.25 per hour

We are seeking a dependable, service-minded Patrol Security Officer to join our growing Honolulu-area team. This position begins as part-time and is intended to transition into a full-time opportunity as coverage needs expand.
As a Patrol Security Officer, you will provide mobile, professional security support at assigned client properties throughout Honolulu and nearby areas. Your Role: Mobile. Visible. Professional. Trusted.
As a Patrol Security Officer, you will serve as a highly visible security presence across assigned client properties in and around Honolulu. Your role will focus on proactive patrols, property protection, detailed reporting, and respectful interactions with clients, residents, guests, and the public.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct mobile and foot patrols at assigned properties throughout Honolulu and surrounding areas.

Patrol courtyards, offices, pools, parking areas, common spaces, access points, and other high-value locations.

Maintain a visible, professional patrol presence to support safety and deter unwanted activity.
-
Monitor properties for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, safety concerns, property damage, or policy violations.
-
Secure and monitor access points to help prevent unauthorized entry.
-
Provide professional and respectful customer service during interactions with clients, residents, tenants, guests, and community members.

Document patrol activities, observations, and incidents through accurate written reports using company software.

Communicate effectively with teammates, supervisors, dispatch, and client representatives.
-
Respond calmly and professionally to concerns, disturbances, or developing situations.
-
Apply de-escalation techniques while maintaining safety, professionalism, and sound judgment.

Protect and properly maintain assigned equipment, including radios, vehicles, keys, and other company assets.

Follow all post orders, patrol procedures, company policies, and site-specific instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or GED.

Hold an active Hawaii State Guard Card.
- Hold an active Driver's License.

Successfully pass a background check and drug screening.

Have reliable transportation.

Have access to a dependable communication device.
-
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

Be organized, dependable, and attentive to detail.

Be physically able to move or lift up to 20 pounds.

Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Experience and Skills
We welcome applicants who bring:

Previous experience as a Security Guard, Security Officer, Mobile Patrol Officer, or Patrol Officer.

Knowledge of loss prevention, access control, mobile patrol procedures, or property protection practices.

Strong situational awareness and sound decision-making skills.

Comfort working independently while remaining connected to a supportive team.

The ability to navigate between assigned patrol locations efficiently and responsibly.

A calm, respectful, and service-focused approach to security.
