Job Description
Position Summary
The Dispatcher is responsible for supporting daily security operations by serving as the primary communication hub between officers, field leadership, clients, and management. This position handles incoming calls, monitors camera systems, coordinates responses to incidents and staffing issues, documents operational activity, and helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all accounts.
Dispatchers are expected to operate with professionalism, urgency, strong communication, and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment. Duties and responsibilities may change based on operational needs, staffing, client requirements, or direction from management.

Pay Range: $50,000.08
Schedule: 7pm - 7am

Key Responsibilities

- Answer and manage incoming calls from officers, clients, supervisors, and vendors
- Dispatch field personnel for incidents, emergencies, coverage issues, or client requests
- Monitor live camera feeds and surveillance systems across client properties
- Identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, disturbances, or operational issues and escalate appropriately
- Coordinate with field supervisors, patrol, and management during incidents or emergencies
- Monitor staffing coverage and track call-offs, late arrivals, and no-call/no-shows
- Assist with filling open shifts and communicating staffing shortages
- Maintain dispatch logs, incident records, and operational documentation
- Ensure incidents and operational concerns are documented accurately and timely
- Escalate issues to leadership when necessary
- Monitor dispatch room equipment and report any deficiencies, malfunctions, or broken equipment immediately to the Field Manager or appropriate member of management
- Keep the dispatch room clean, organized, and professional at all times
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality while handling sensitive information
- Support operations leadership with administrative and operational coordination as needed
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, post orders, and standards outlined in the Dispatch Manual
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on operational needs
Basic Shift Expectations

- Remain actively engaged throughout the shift
- Monitor calls, messages, alarms, and camera systems continuously
- Respond to operational requests and incidents promptly
- Maintain situational awareness of active operations and surveillance activity
- Communicate issues proactively and professionally
- Work collaboratively with officers, supervisors, and management
- Complete all required logs, reports, and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications:

- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dispatch and camera systems
- Professional phone and customer service etiquette
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous dispatch, surveillance, security, or operations experience preferred
Preferred but Not Required: Previous experience in military or law enforcement is a plus.
