Position Summary
The Branch Dedicated Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for Advanced Dedicated Officers and Dedicated Officers while overseeing daily operations across assigned client sites. This role is responsible for developing officers, maintaining staffing coverage, supporting client relationships, and ensuring consistent service that creates peace of mind.
This is an active leadership role that includes site visits, officer ride-alongs, report reviews, scheduling, and covering security shifts. The supervisor works closely with the Operations Coordinator and other team leaders to address concerns, communicate expectations, and improve performance.
Responsibilities
Lead and Develop Officers:
- Coach, mentor, and supervise officers to meet Signal standards, site-specific post orders, and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and ride-alongs, providing practical feedback, accountability, and recognition.
- Participate in performance reviews, establish development goals, and follow up on progress.
- Reinforce punctuality, professional appearance, accurate reporting, and dependable service.
- Recommend and issue disciplinary action in accordance with company policies.
- Encourage continuous learning and ensure officers complete required training.
- Support recruiting, interview candidates, coordinate orientation, and assist with onboarding and site training.
Manage Daily Operations:
- Maintain complete schedules to fulfill contracted services, address call-offs, and minimize unnecessary overtime.
- Cover shifts when needed to ensure continuity of service.
- Lead daily operational briefings to communicate client needs, property concerns, service updates, and post order changes.
- Confirm that officers understand their assignments and have the training and equipment needed to perform them.
- Review activity and incident reports for accuracy, completeness, professionalism, and timely submission.
- Use company technology and mobile applications to manage schedules, reporting, and operational communication.
- Identify staffing needs and communicate hiring recommendations to management.
Support Clients and Service Quality:
- Build professional relationships with clients, residents, customers, and team members.
- Respond promptly to client concerns, communicate issues to the Operations Coordinator, and follow through on resolutions.
- Model professional communication and de-escalation when addressing difficult situations.
- Ensure officers conduct required patrols, security checks, and access-point checks in accordance with site post orders.
- When covering a post, perform assigned security duties, observe and report incidents, and complete detailed shift reports.
Maintain Equipment and Accountability:
- Track and maintain accountability for uniforms, vehicles, radios, phones, devices, keys, access cards, and other company equipment.
- Report maintenance concerns, equipment shortages, and replacement needs promptly.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Operations Coordinator to review scorecards, route performance, staffing, operational priorities, and client concerns.
- Perform additional duties based on site requirements and operational needs.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass required background checks and a pre-employment drug screening, including the WVCARES process where required for an assigned site.
- Have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Be able to travel among assigned sites throughout Morgantown, Fairmont, Clarksburg, and surrounding areas.
- Be available to work varying shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, and provide coverage when needed.
- Complete required initial training modules within the first seven days of employment and additional training as assigned.
- Have strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Have basic computer skills and be able to operate a smartphone efficiently.
- Have a smartphone with an active data plan for scheduling, post orders, reporting, and communication.
