About the Role

📍 Location: Positions available throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties. Assigned site provided during onboarding.

🕒 Shifts:

  • Weekends required – Be a key presence when security matters most.
  • Afternoon to overnight shifts – Assigned during orientation.
    • Typically, our shifts are either 8, 10, or 12 hours between the hours of 6pm - 6am. 

🔍 What You’ll Do:

  • Foot Patrols – Deter theft and ensure a safe environment for residents and visitors.
  • Incident Reporting – Document detailed reports on-site activities and incidents.
  • Property Oversight – Take ownership of your assigned location, maintaining security and order.
  • Vehicle Patrol – Some positions require driving patrols for enhanced coverage.

🔹 Preferred but Not Required: Former military, law enforcement, or security experience is a plus.

Minimum Requirements

✅ Background Check & Drug Screening – Must pass both.
✅ Smartphone – Required for clocking in, reporting, and communication.
✅ Reliable Transportation – Personal vehicle required. Must have a valid driver’s license.
✅ Florida Class D Security License – Must be obtained before starting.
✅ Physical Endurance – Must be able to sit, stand, walk, or drive for up to 12 hours.

Compensation & Additional Details

💰 Pay Range: $15.50 - $20.50/hr (depending on department placement after assessments)
⏳ Probation Period: 60 days (Full medical benefits available after completion).
🏢 Franchise-Based Employment: You’ll be working for an independently owned Signal franchise.
