Job Description
Operations Supervisor – Atlanta, GA
Franchise #332 | Signal Security
Signal of Atlanta is seeking a hands-on, high-accountability Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day field operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and has the drive to help rebuild a strong, reliable team with the support of several Advanced Officers. You’ll be responsible for maintaining field schedules, overseeing vehicle readiness, supporting officer training, and ensuring operational execution aligns with our standards.
You’ll report directly to the executive team and will play a key leadership role in stabilizing and elevating one of our most demanding markets.
Initial training will take place in Pensacola, FL, and travel for 1 week is required.
Key Responsibilities
-
Field Leadership: Direct, coach, and hold Advanced Officers and frontline guards accountable to daily patrols, training tasks, and site standards.
-
Scheduling Oversight: Own and manage the schedule to ensure 100% coverage of contracted hours. Proactively plan coverage to minimize overtime and fill gaps when needed.
-
Officer Development: Conduct spot checks, provide real-time feedback, and lead field huddles. Set expectations clearly, coach regularly, and follow through with both recognition and corrective action as needed.
-
Hiring Support: Participate in the interview and onboarding process in partnership with your Ops Coordinator. Help assess candidates’ readiness and coordinate local orientations.
-
Fleet & Equipment: Ensure vehicles, uniforms, radios, and other tools are accounted for, operational, and clean. Report maintenance needs promptly.
-
Communication & Reporting: Serve as the communication bridge between officers and the executive team. Relay site issues, policy violations, and client concerns immediately and clearly.
-
Policy Enforcement: Uphold and enforce Signal’s SOPs. Issue coaching documentation and discipline when necessary. Set the tone for professionalism in the field.
-
Operations Execution: Review and submit daily reports. Ensure post orders are followed. Identify and fix issues before they escalate.
What We’re Looking For
We need a Supervisor who can get in the field, get their hands dirty, and still operate with a professional, leadership-oriented mindset. This isn’t a desk job. You’ll need to be flexible, solutions-focused, and capable of handling high-pressure situations with little notice. This position has the potential to grow into a coordinator role in 6-12 months based on the person's ability to adapt, interact with customers/employees and technological knowledge.

21 years of age or older
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Valid driver’s license with clean driving history
-
Must pass a background check and drug test
-
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel
-
Willing and able to work all shifts as needed, including nights and weekends
-
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
-
Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
-
Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn systems
-
Must be coachable, adaptable, and capable of leading by example
