Position Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Event Staff (Part-Time) to support a variety of events on Hilton Head Island, SC, including July 4th, Labor Day, and local festivals running from July 4th through September 2nd, 2026. This role involves assisting with event setup, guest services, and general event operations to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for attendees.

Schedule: Hours vary based on event schedules
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with setup and teardown of event venues, including arranging equipment, furniture, and signage
- Greet and provide assistance to event attendees, ensuring positive guest experiences
- Support event staff with registration, ticketing, and crowd management as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas during and after events
- Follow all safety protocols and adhere to event guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to address any on-site issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and performers by monitoring crowds and enforcing event policies.
- Assist with crowd control and help manage lines, entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas during events.
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure smooth flow and safe access around the venue.
- Provide excellent customer service by guiding visitors to restrooms, seating sections, entrances, and other event areas.
- Conduct bag checks and security screenings at entry points when required while remaining professional and courteous.
Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving equipment
• Prior event or customer service experience preferred but not required
• Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
