Location: North Shore, Massachusetts
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible – Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts (including weekends, holidays & on-call as needed)

Job Description
We are looking for a dependable, highly responsible, and experienced Security Supervisor/Coordinator to oversee our dedicated security officers throughout the North Shore area of Massachusetts.
In this role, you will serve as the primary field supervisor and coordinator for assigned client sites, ensuring officers are properly scheduled, staffed, trained, and performing their duties in accordance with company and client expectations.
This is not a traditional Monday through Friday, 9-to-5 position. Our security operations are 24/7, and the successful candidate must be flexible, reliable, and willing to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-outs as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Officer Oversight: Supervise, coach, and hold assigned security officers accountable for attendance, performance, professionalism, and compliance with company and client expectations.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate schedules for dedicated security officers, maintain adequate staffing levels, and address scheduling conflicts, call-outs, and open shifts.
- Shift Coverage: Respond to last-minute call-outs and staffing shortages and personally cover vacant shifts when necessary to ensure uninterrupted client coverage.
- Training & Coaching: Assist with training and coaching officers to ensure they understand site-specific responsibilities, post orders, and company policies.
- Emergency Coverage: Remain available to respond to urgent staffing needs and operational issues when necessary, including outside of regularly scheduled hours.
Requirements
- Security Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of security experience
- Supervisory Experience: Previous experience supervising security personnel, managing schedules, or coordinating multiple posts is strongly preferred.
- Open Availability: Flexibility to work a fluid schedule averaging 40–50 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call availability as needed.
- Regional Travel: Must be comfortable traveling between client locations throughout the North Shore area.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with officers, clients, and management.
- Technology: Comfortable using scheduling software, digital reporting systems, email, and other company technology.
- Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Must have a strong attendance record and the ability to respond promptly to staffing and operational needs.
