Patrol Officer — Signal Security of Hawaii | Kapolei, Oahu

$22/hour | Full-Time & Part-Time | Multiple Shifts Available

Signal Security of Hawaii is hiring Patrol Officers in Kapolei — and we're looking for people who take their work seriously. You'll be the visible presence of safety and professionalism at client properties in West Oahu: conducting patrols, securing access points, writing sharp reports, and handling situations with calm, confident judgment.

If you have your Hawaii Guard Card and a clean driving record, we want to talk.

What the job looks like day to day:

  • Vehicle and foot patrols of assigned properties — courtyards, offices, pools, and high-value areas
  • Monitoring and controlling access points to prevent unauthorized entry
  • Delivering strong customer service while maintaining a professional, authoritative presence
  • Writing accurate, detailed incident reports via company software or mobile app
  • De-escalating situations calmly and respectfully
  • Coordinating with teammates, clients, and supervisors throughout your shift
  • Maintaining company equipment — radios, vehicles, keys — to standard

What we require:

  • 21 years or older (for drivers)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Active Hawaii State Guard Card (non-negotiable)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (non-negotiable)
  • Reliable transportation and a device for communication
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Physically able to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and follow-through

Bonus points for:

  • Prior experience as a security guard, patrol officer, or similar role
  • Familiarity with loss prevention and property protection
  • Demonstrated situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
