Overnight Security Dispatcher – Signal of Tampa

Schedule  

12-hour overnight shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM  

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday  
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday  

What You’ll Do  

  • As a Dispatcher, you are the hub of communication and coordination. A typical shift may include:  
  • Monitoring dozens of security cameras to detect unusual activity  
  • Receiving and documenting both emergency and non-emergency calls  
  • Prioritizing requests and deploying the right resources quickly  
  • Using radio, phone, and computer systems to dispatch security teams  
  • Maintaining accurate logs, reports, and digital records  

What We’re Looking For -   

Preferred Background:  

  • Military veterans, reservists, or prior law enforcement encouraged to apply  
  • 3+ years of dispatch, monitoring, or access control experience (preferred but not required)  

Essential Qualities:  

  • Alert, reliable, and punctual  
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills  
  • Calm and adaptable in fast-changing situations  
  • Clear and accurate communicator (written and verbal)  
  • Tech-savvy, confident with multiple computer systems  
  • Able to pass background check & drug screening
