Signal Security
Signal Security is seeking a results-driven Operations Manager to lead security operations across our Jacksonville and Ocala markets. This is a senior operational leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes full ownership of outcomes, and builds disciplined, high-performing teams.
Jacksonville is a high-volume, high-visibility market, and Ocala is a growing operation requiring consistent leadership and execution. This role is not about maintaining the status quo. It is about enforcing standards, strengthening accountability, and driving consistent execution across people, processes, and customer relationships in both markets.
As Operations Manager, you will oversee all daily operations in Jacksonville and Ocala and work directly with market-level supervisors who report to you. You will be accountable for operational performance, compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability across both locations.
What You Will Own
- Full oversight of day-to-day security operations in the Jacksonville and Ocala markets
- Direct leadership of supervisors and field leadership through clear direction and accountability
- Real-time operational decision-making with appropriate escalation
- Schedule integrity, coverage reliability, and response execution across all posts
- Hiring, onboarding, training, and retention of quality security personnel
- Enforcement of licensing, training, post orders, and company SOPs
- Performance management, coaching, documentation, and corrective action when required
- Oversight of vehicles, equipment, and operational readiness
- Proactive customer engagement, relationship management, and issue resolution
- Execution of company initiatives and operational goals
- Monitoring and managing labor efficiency, overtime, and operational costs
- Understanding and managing profit and loss, including labor and market-level expenses
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing teams in an operational, field-based environment
- Prior experience in security operations or a highly regulated industry strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead through structure, accountability, and follow-through
- Comfort operating in high-call, high-interruption environments
- Strong working knowledge of compliance, audits, and documentation requirements
- Excellent communication skills — clear, direct, and professional
- Customer-focused mindset with confidence in client-facing situations
- Experience or strong working understanding of P&L management
- Ability to prioritize effectively under pressure
- Highly organized, decisive, and solution-oriented
