Your Role:
As a Fulfillment Center Associate you will be responsible for assisting with the execution of the overall functions of the Signal fulfillment center. This role will work closely with the Apparel and Order Fulfillment Manager and Other Fulfillment Center Associates to support the day-to-day processes of the fulfillment center. This role understands the importance of communication, inventory management, and staying organized.
What you’ll Do in this Role:
Order Fulfillment & Production: 60%
- Receive incoming orders via shop team signal and employee shop team signal sites.
- Verify accuracy of orders, including items, quantities, and shipping information.
- Pick items from shelves or storage areas according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Administer drop ship orders for a wide variety of third-party vendors.
- Maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in all tasks.
- Set up and operate heat press machines according to job specifications, including adjusting temperature, pressure, and time settings.
- Apply designs, logos, or graphics onto materials using heat transfer methods, ensuring even pressure and temperature distribution for consistent results.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including job orders, materials used, and production times, to track performance and efficiency.
- Work closely with other fulfillment team members and departments with production, design, and quality control to coordinate workflow, accuracy, and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Assist Owners, Departments, and Employees with inquiries or issues regarding their orders.
- Provide accurate information regarding order status, shipping times, and product availability.
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure a positive customer experience through friendly and helpful interaction.
Inventory Management: 20%
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Restock shelves or storage areas with incoming inventory.
- Maintain organized and tidy storage areas to facilitate efficient order picking.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels to management.
- Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Unload shipments from trucks and verify contents against packing slips.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for delivery using appropriate packaging materials.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for quality and accuracy.
- Report any damaged or defective items to management.
Maintaining Cleanliness, Organization, & Safety: 20%
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment such as pallet jacks, Heat Press Machines, Package Sealer, and Heat Gun Shrink Wrapper
- Keep work areas clean and free of debris to prevent accidents or equipment damage.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling certain materials or operating machinery.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to workplace safety and compliance.
- Participate in safety training programs as required.
Qualifications/knowledge:
- Minimum 1-3 years of customer service, product logistics and/or equivalent experience
- Ability to navigate through computer systems, use email, and work with inventory management software.
- Experience operating heat press machines or similar equipment in a production environment is preferred but not always required for entry-level positions.
- Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience in building relationships and working in a team environment.
- Proven ability to support initiatives defined by the fulfillment leadership team.
- Willing to contribute to a “Championship Culture” of teamwork, passion, and collaboration.
Skills/Abilities:

- Ability to accurately pick, pack, and ship orders while paying close attention to product details, quantities, and shipping instructions.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Collaboration to work closely with other departments, communicate effectively, and support each other to achieve common goals and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Quickly able to identify and address issues that may arise during order processing, inventory management, or equipment operation to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth operations.
- Able to Operate computer systems, Shopify software experience a plus.
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, following proper lifting techniques, and using personal protective equipment to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Provide excellent service to customers .
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, manage workloads effectively, and meet productivity targets while maintaining quality standards and attention to detail.
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Willingness to take initiative and proactively contribute ideas for process improvements, productivity enhancements, or other initiatives to optimize fulfillment center operations.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy in all tasks, from order fulfillment to packaging, shipping, and productions, to ensure customer satisfaction and minimize errors or returns.
- Must be able to pass a background check including Motor Vehicle Report
