Security Officer – Roving Patrol (Sarasota, FL)

Pay: $17.00 – $17.50 per hour Job Type: Full-time (Afternoon & Overnight Shifts) Location: Sarasota, FL

The Role: Roving Patrol Officer

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will be the face of safety for our Sarasota clients. You will operate a marked patrol vehicle to monitor multiple sites, ensuring the safety of communities and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Patrols: Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to deter trespassing, vandalism, and theft.

  • Emergency Response: Respond to alarms and disturbances; coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.

  • Digital Reporting: Use mobile apps to complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident logs.

  • Safety Inspections: Identify hazards like fires, leaks, or safety deficiencies and report them immediately.

  • Client Relations: Provide professional customer service and safety escorts for residents and employees.

Requirements & Schedule

  • Schedule: Full-time. Must be available for weekends.

  • Shifts: Primarily afternoon and overnight shifts.

  • Licensing: Must meet Florida state requirements for security licensing (Class D).

  • Professionalism: Must maintain a clean uniform and a high level of integrity.

  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for Roving Patrol).
