• Prepare charter provisions and develop a menu based on guest’s preferences (and dietary restrictions) information.
• Communicate and educate menu(s) with crew members to create a great dining experience for charter guests.
• Prepare and cook meals for crew and charter guests
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining the vessel's interior
• Carry out captain's orders
• Providing excellent guest service, meal service and bartending skills when needed
• Maintaining laundry, housekeeping, and wardrobe tasks for both guests and yacht crew
• Floral arrangements and decorations as required
• Help coordinate onshore activities (when necessary)
• Interior and cabin appearance and maintenance
• Working very closely with the first mate/stew to create a seamless dining experience
• Detailing/cleaning all interior areas
• Inventories and requisitioning
• Providing detailed and seamless service to guests from arrival until departure
• Create an atmosphere that makes a "wow" impression on guests
• Assist in cleaning up after meals
• Refrigerated drinks restocking
• Assisting captain with paperwork (i.e., provision receipts) as requested

Required Certifications & Experience

• STCS
• ENG1
• Food Safety Hygiene Level 2
• Passport
• B1/B2 (not required to join the company initially, however, B1 visa is required to cross the US waterways with the boat)
• Experience in yachting or hospitality industry involving cooking and guest servies.

Start Date & Location: on or shortly after January 29, 2023 from Marsh Harbor, Abaco, Bahamas.

Compensation Amount: $200/day plus tips for the 1st year. A salary for a F/T position (starting at $35,000 year plus tips) can be arranged after the successful completion of your 1st year.
