Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our service to draw in potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the market, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to business development and a passion for searching out new opportunities and clients to generate sales.
Duties
- Identify and engage potential customers through various channels including telemarketing and networking.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Present and demonstrate our service solutions to clients, highlighting their benefits and features.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Build and grow an ever increasing referral program to aid added sales
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Utilize our CRM to track sales activities, manage leads, and report on progress.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Ops team to develop strategies that drive sales growth.
- Stay informed about service updates, industry developments, and competitive landscape.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in "service" sales.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
- Experience with CRM software is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes.
- Ability to work independently when generating leads and prospecting clients as well as part of a team in making the proposal transition to a sale.
- A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and market trends.
- Ability to understand these sales are LONG lead times and to not be deflated
- Be able to redirect your focus at any time
- Ability to deliver to management comprehensive reports with evidential back up

Pay: Basic and Commission based. OTE $85,000 - $100,000 per year
