Position Summary:
The GSOC Security Site Manager oversees security services and daily operations at the assigned client site in Morrisville. This role ensures exceptional client service, supervises and develops security staff, manages schedules and staffing levels, enforces compliance with policies and regulations, and supports contract administration. Acting as the primary client liaison, the Manager resolves issues, enhances service delivery, and drives operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Client Relations and Contract Support
• Serve as the principal point of contact for the client, ensuring high-quality service and timely resolution of issues.
• Conduct regular meetings with client representatives to provide updates, address concerns, assist with contract negotiations, and support client start-up activities.
Operations Management
• Develop, review, and update security post orders to align with client requirements.
• Coordinate staff scheduling to meet client needs while managing labor costs effectively.
• Review security officer reports and conduct routine on-site inspections.
Staff Supervision and Development
• Oversee recruitment, selection, training, and ongoing development of security personnel.
• Provide coaching, assign tasks, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary to maintain performance standards.
Compliance and Administration
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies; maintain staff awareness and adherence.
• Manage account-related budgets, authorizing expenditures for equipment, supplies, and vehicles.
• Maintain inventory and serviceability of uniforms, radios, and other security equipment.
• Accurately maintain and submit payroll and related business records.
• Address legal, financial, human resources, and administrative matters in support of the account.
Emergency and Relief Duties
• Provide security officer coverage as needed during relief or emergency situations.
Minimum Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age.
• Possess a reliable communication device (phone or pager) and transportation (public or private).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of pre-employment screening including drug screening and background check.
Education and Experience:
Associate’s Degree plus a minimum of 2 years of responsible experience in the security industry or business management. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered, with relevant additional experience substituting on a year-for-year basis.
Competencies:
• Compliance with applicable state and local security licensing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of security operations, procedures, and supervisory practices.
• Demonstrated skills in staff supervision, including training, discipline, and motivation.
• Familiarity with security and safety devices and controls.
• Effective scheduling and labor cost control capabilities.
• Ability to remain composed and manage multiple concurrent assignments.
• Proficiency in business operations, human resources administration, and financial analysis.
• Excellent oral and written communication, customer service, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to organizational and environmental changes.
Working Conditions:
• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and during urgent situations.
• Must meet company standards for background, drug testing, and behavioral assessments.
• Frequent communication, lifting up to 25 pounds, walking, bending, and on-call emergency response required.
• May require regular vehicle use and travel.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
